Guidelines on Nursery (K1) Classes Admission Arrangements

Return of Application Forms (No set quota for the number of application forms to be collected):

1.  The EDB shall implement a free quality kindergarten education policy in the 2017/18 school year to replace the existing "Pre-primary Education Voucher Scheme". Under the new scheme, the EDB will use the "Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission" as the K1 registration document for the 2025/26 school year.。
2. Parents are required to submit an application for the "2025/26 Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission " (hereinafter referred to as "2025/26 RC") for their child to the EDB from September to November 2024. The "2025/26 RC" will be open for applications in September 2024 and the EDB will announce and upload the details of application onto the EDB’s website (https://www.edb.gov.hk/k1-admission_e) in due course.

2. Interviews will be held on 9 November 2024(Saturday) and notification letters will be sent to parents 。

4. Parents and children are allowed to be accompanied by a Chinese speaking relative/friend to facilitate communication in the interview. 1. Successful applicants: Parents should come to our School to complete the registration procedures at the specified time during the specified dates in January of 2025 ("Centralized Registration Dates"), and must submit the original copy of the "2025/26 RC" and pay the registration fee.。
2. Applicants on the waiting list:  If the school still has vacancies, the school will notice applicants by phone or mail individually. Parents should come to our Kindergarten to complete the registration procedures for their child according to the specified date set by our Kindergarten, and submit the RC / AP and pay the registration fee.
3. Please be reminded that if parents cannot submit valid registration documents on the specified registration dates, our School may not be able to complete registration for the child. Hence, parents must apply for the relevant registration certificate to the EDB within the specified period.
4. The registration fee for the 2025/26 school year is HK$1,570.  If the child concerned studies in our School, the registration fee will be refunded in September 2025. However, if parents decide to change school after registration, please notify our School in writing. Our School will return the relevant registration certificate but the registration fee will not be refunded. Upon obtaining the registration certificate, our School will no longer keep the school place for the child.。
